AB airbags is a stalwart of the transport packaging business and, when it was time to revamp their swag, they got in touch for some new ideas to boost this great brand. Our first order of business was finding out who AB wanted to create their new line of branded apparel for and; with this in mind we set about creating a simple, clean everyday carry collection for them with an emphasis on punchy branding on quality garments, with real functional appeal.

The AB airbags polo was created from a sumptuous poly/cotton knitted pique polo with a structured three-button placket. We specified this polo for its obvious functionality and work-casual charm, but also because you can simply slip it on immediately after washing and drying without the needing to fuss about ironing; it’s work-wear at its best.

We wanted to offer AB airbags a smart collection of hat styles which would appeal to a broad range of wearers. We chose a classic foam trucker with a braided rope across the brim and finished with a heat-transfer logo—a timeless and no-nonsense classic. We included a multi-cam trucker style cap with an embroidered patch which gives the blue of their logo a little extra “pop,” making it a distinctive, eye-catching emblem.

For the everyday carry component of their swag we specified a multitool knife with key ring complete with a beautiful rosewood handle upon which we had the AB Airbags logo laser etched. This high-quality and handy everyday tool comes with three chrome-plated tools; a knife, scissors and file, not to mention the can opener, corkscrew and screw driver functionality. The felt bag it comes in adds a great touch and an air of refinement to a well branded personal gift which will accompany its owner for years to come.

The Ab Airbags pen was the simplest but also the most cost-effect method of branding in this EDC package. We specified a quality brand at a slightly higher price point because, let’s face it, all your branded goods carry not only your brand message, but also an idea of your brand’s quality with them.
